和光大学
和光大学成立于1966年，是一所四年制的文科高等学院。提倡师生自由互动，珍惜价值观念的冲突，并通过独立的学习和研究课外活动追求个人和智力的发展。艺术系包括3门课程：艺术，设计和规划。艺术课程还有3个额外的研讨会：绘画，雕塑以及当代摄影和录像。当代摄影与录像工作室始于2019年，当时艺术家大坪晃（Akira Otsubo）被分配到和光大学。 该工作室由Butcherer及其学生组成，他们主要研究作为当代艺术的摄影和视觉表达。
Wako University
Wako University was founded in 1966 as a four-year liberal arts institution of higher learning.The Faculty and students interact freely, cherishing the clash of values and ideas and pursuing personal and intellectual growth through independent study and research extracurricular activities.The Department of Arts consists of 3 courses: Art, Design, and Planning. The Art course has additional 3 seminars: Painting, Sculpture, and Contemporary photo and video.The Contemporary photo and video Studio started in 2019 when artist Akira Otsubo was assigned to Wako University. The Studio is composed of Butcherer students who are mainly exploring photography and visual expression as contemporary art.

《屋子里的影子》
总部位于日本神奈川县的大坪彰（Otsubo Akira）一直在进行“房屋中的阴影”项目。为了研究战后日本对西方生活方式的张力和接受过程，她研究了隐藏在历史背后但仍保留在屋子里的个人记忆。她探索并拍摄了1945年至1952年被GHQ（盟军最高司令部总司令部）征用的日本地区的私人住宅，并与舞蹈演员合作制作了照片和录像作品。通过在其上增加虚构的操作，她的作品旨在将这些历史事实作为寓言故事来呈现。《Shadow in the House》
Otsubo Akira, based in Kanagawa, Japan, has been working on the “Shadow in the House” Project. In order to research the tension and reception process to the Western lifestyle during the post-war era in Japan, she examines personal memories hidden behind history but still remains as traces in the house. She explored and photographed private housings in the Japan Area that had been requisitioned by the GHQ (General Headquarters of the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces) from 1945 to 1952, and produced photo and video works, collaborating with dancers. By adding fictional operation on it, her works intend to present these historical facts as allegorical stories.
