刘阳，副教授，硕士研究生导师，四川美术学院实验艺术学院摄影艺术系主任。毕业于鲁迅美术学院摄影系（学士、硕士），北京电影学院访问学者。从事摄影教育19年，个人作品多次获国家、省部级奖、被国内外美术馆收藏，受邀参加国内外当代艺术展数十次。
《O·X》系列作品是由几组不同的关于“后脑勺”的组照构成。后脑勺可以代表不面对、漠视、微小、隐藏，亦可代表一种默默的甚至暧昧的关注。当大画幅极端冷静、凝视的特点作用于后脑勺时，却遭遇着观察的“无效性”。本组拍摄对象都是我的母校鲁迅美术学院摄影系的老师。当我凝视这些照片时，面对的是超越了时间和空间的，比面对眼神更加令人动容和有宽泛回忆感的存在。
《O·X》
"O · X" series of works is composed of several groups of different group photos about the "back of the head". The back of the head can represent not facing, indifference, small, hidden, can also represent a kind of silent or even ambiguous attention. When the extreme calm and gaze characteristics of large paintings act on the back of the head, they encounter the "ineffectiveness" of observation. The subjects of this group are all teachers of Photography Department of Lu Xun Academy of fine arts, my alma mater. When I gaze at these photos, I am confronted with a presence that transcends time and space and is more moving and broad-minded than the presence of eyes.
