I came to Beijing in 2018. After living in a room of 10 square meters for a year, I began to examine and recall everything that happened in this time and space and the city. Small rooms are embedded in the corners of many high-rise buildings in Beijing, just like a private garden is a private box suspended in the urban landscape. I try to record objects related to the memory of this city, trying to outline the dialogue between individual emotion and space. I hope that the fierce ups and downs originally produced in the confrontation can finally be soothed into soft and romantic image symbols.
