The family album series is a form of "freedom and destruction" of images. During the creation, I unconsciously connect the fragmented meta-images with my family history and childhood memories. This is an outlet for emotional venting, or an attempt to talk to family members silently. I want to know how my family viewed themselves at the time and what kind of images they used to record their lives. Here the images answered this question. But are these photos really true portrayals of them? Staring at these pictures countless times, my memory is just like these pictures, some are as new as before, some are old and mottled, and some are fuzzy, but I want to try to use the incompleteness of the image to bridge the gap in time.
