西安理工大学艺术与设计学院摄影专业成立于2004年，每届招收本科生约20人，硕士研究生约6人，在校学生人数约95人，截止目前共毕业本科生13届，硕士研究生8届。
本专业现有教师10名，其中专职教师6名，专职实验员1名，客座教授3名。本专业着重培养多学科的交叉知识在工作中灵活运用的能力，在教学上将摄影与设计、艺术创作、印刷技术及数字化的多媒体技术密切结合起来。向社会培养“复合型”、“ 应用型”摄影人才，注重学生创新能力的培养，强化实践教学。
Xi'an University of Technology
The Photography Major of the School of Art and Design of Xi'an University of Technology was established in 2004. Each session of the program enrolls about 20 undergraduates and 6 postgraduates. The number of students in the school is about 95. Up to now, it has recruited undergraduate students for 13 years and postgraduate students for 8 years.
There are currently 10 teachers in this major, including 6 full-time teachers, 1 full-time laboratory worker, and 3 guest professors. This major focuses on cultivating the ability to flexibly use multidisciplinary cross-knowledge in work, and closely integrate photography and design, artistic creation, printing technology and digital multimedia technology in teaching. Cultivate "composite" and "applied" photography talents from the society, pay attention to the cultivation of students' innovative ability, and strengthen practical teaching.
