《Looking Forward to Reply》
“Wild goose wandering five thousand miles;sending words as pearls of wisdom in life.Though he living alone for a long time,still loving parents from his heart.”Although leaving my parents to study in another city for many years,my father and I still seem to have a conversation in the poem which he told me many years ago,but I didn't found it until his death for five years.Hence,I begin to recall the past that I am unwilling to talk about.For one thing,I use the photographs from him to explore the way of seeing in photography between father and son and their expression of love;for another,distinct arrangement of daily items renders me closer of the expression between my father and my mother,further to extend to my grandmother’s life state and emotion regulation after my father died.During the process, I keep having conversations with my father to know my father and experience his puzzles.In the end, I use my father’s hobby-photographing to express emotion and communicate with him.Although my father has already left, he seems to exist in another form as well as look forward to my reply.Therefore,I also reply to him in this way.Meanwhile,like my father,I also look forward to the reply from him and keep on with this silent communication.
