浙江传媒学院设计艺术学院摄影专业为“十二五”省新型特色专业、“十三五”省特色专业、浙江省一流本科专业，在中国科学评价研究中心发布的《中国大学及学科专业评价报告》中连续六年获得五星评价，位列全国同类专业前列。本专业一直秉持“保持特色与创新发展相结合”的建设思路，在学生的专业能力、理论素养培育和创作创新能力提升上形成优势，逐渐形成“务实并追求卓越”的办学风格。通过举办“‘徐肖冰杯’中国大学生摄影双年展”“浙江省大学生摄影竞赛”“丽水摄影节国际高校摄影联展暨摄影教育论坛”，组织学生参加国内外专业展赛，提升专业的行业认可度和社会知名度。与英国创意艺术大学、美国俄亥俄大学长期开展联合教学，开拓学生国际视野。
本专业培养应用型、复合型、创新型人才，毕业生能主动适应现代社会经济、科技与文化艺术事业发展需要，适应“互联网+”时代需求，具有较强社会责任感、良好职业素养和开阔国际视野，具备扎实的科学文化基础知识、摄影专业理论知识和技术技能，能在新闻出版、商业广告、文化宣传、网络通讯、融合媒体等新闻媒体、文化创意企事业单位从事摄影专业创作、研究和教学工作。学生在全国摄影艺术展览、三影堂艺术展等国内国际大展中屡屡获奖，先后有5位学生入选浙江省造型艺术青年人才培养“新峰计划”。
Communication University of Zhejiang
The photography major of the school of design and art of Zhejiang University of communication is a new characteristic specialty of the 12th Five Year Plan, a characteristic specialty of the 13th five year plan, and a first-class undergraduate major in Zhejiang Province. It has been awarded five-star evaluation for six consecutive years in the "evaluation report of Chinese Universities and disciplines" issued by China Science Evaluation and Research Center, ranking the forefront of similar majors in China. This major has been adhering to the construction idea of "combining the characteristics with innovation and development", and has formed advantages in the cultivation of students' professional ability, theoretical literacy and creative innovation ability, and gradually formed the school running style of "pragmatic and pursuit of excellence".Through the holding of "Xu Xiaobing Cup" Chinese college students photography Biennale,Zhejiang college students photography competition,Lishui Photography Festival International University Photography joint exhibition and photography education forum, students are organized to participate in professional exhibitions and competitions at home and abroad, so as to enhance their professional recognition and social awareness. It has been carrying out joint teaching with British University of creative arts and Ohio University for a long time to expand students' international vision.This major trains applied, compound and innovative talents. Graduates can take the initiative to adapt to the needs of modern social economy, technology and culture and arts, meet the needs of the "Internet plus" era, have strong sense of social responsibility, good occupation accomplishment and broaden international vision, have solid scientific and cultural knowledge, photographic knowledge and technical skills, and can be in the news. Publishing, commercial advertising, cultural publicity, network communication, integrated media and other news media, cultural and creative enterprises and institutions are engaged in the creation, research and teaching of photography. The students have won many awards in the national photography art exhibition, the three shadow Hall art exhibition and other domestic and international exhibitions. Five students have been selected into the "new peak program" of plastic arts youth training in Zhejiang Province.
