任泽远1997年出⽣于浙江宁波，浙江传媒学院图片摄影系2020届毕业生。儿时搬离镇海的自己从去年不断重返这个老城区，一次次进入它是一个既熟悉又陌生的过程。在努力重拾记忆碎片的同时，我也在不断追溯这个城区以往的历史故事：它的名片在时间的长河里一次次匆忙地更换。镇海，作为江浙的门户，海防线的前哨，一直是近代历史重要的书写对象，甬江两岸散落的炮台和遗址不可逆转的沦为19世纪反殖民抗争史的替身；20世纪70年代，镇海借助地域优势成为了一个典型的工业城区，港区、发电厂、炼油厂和渔业基地相继建设，带来了大量的就业人口，城区的面积不断增长；而如今，老城区面临去工业化和环境污染，老龄化和人口流失问题逐年加重，开始不断收缩。重拾和追溯两者会始终贯穿于我的这一创作计划里，最终试图将个人记忆与集体记忆互相串联，组成完整的记忆链条。Moving away from Zhenhai District since childhood, I returned to this old district repetitively from the last year. Every entrance was a familiar and strange process. When I tried to recollect the pieces of memory, I also constantly dated back to the historical stories in this area. The label of Zhenhai shifts in the long history serval times. Zhenhai, as the door of Zhejiang Province, is the outpost of coast defense and always the significant object in modern historical documents. The fort barbettes and historic sites scattering in the riversides of Yong River irreversibly shift to the evidence of an anti-colonial history in the 19th century. In the 1970s, Zhenhai relied on its geographical advantage and transformed into a classical industrial urban area. Port area, power station, oil refining company and fishing base gradually sprung up, which appealed to a large number of employees and caused expanded areas of urban. However, this old district nowadays is confronted with increasingly anabatic issues of industrialism, environmental pollution, aging population, and outmigration, so it commenced to shrink. Recollection and retrospect always go through in this project, and I hope to connect personal memories with collective memories to a completed memory chain.
